More progress on the Supra! In today's episode of throtl, we continue working on our 2020 Toyota Supra GR and finish the install of the StreetHunter Body kit!
In order to finish the installation of the StreetHunter body kit, we need to make sure the new wheels will fit. This means that we need to do some cutting on the fenders and fender liners. After trimming the OEM fender liners, Rickie makes some custom fender liners to make the proper clearance with the body kit. After getting the quarter panels properly trimmed, the boys install a seam sealer to prevent water and debris from getting into the wheel wells. Finally, Rickie and Quinn get the StreetHunter Body kit mounted to the car.
After getting the body kit fully mounted, the boys install some new wheels on the Supra. We decided to purchase TJ Hunt's wheels from his Toyota Supra. They are HRE C106 three-piece forged wheels. We decided to go with these wheels because we believe they are the perfect spec and design for our build. The wheel fitment is perfect and the style is nice and aggressive. Like what you see? So what's next? Stay tuned for the next Toyota Supra video because we are going to send the car to SOS Customz for a fresh coat of paint and when it gets back, we are going to have a ton of installs to do.
