Building a 1998 Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX: Part 5 - Patching The Wide Body Install

Patching the Wide Body Install to Finish Up This Phase

In the previous episode of throtl, we installed the Carbonetics widebody kit on our Mitsubishi Eclipse DSM. Today we fine tune the wide body install by patching up the wheel wells on the car. This will prevent any liquids and debris from getting in areas that it shouldn't, which will prolong the life of the rebuild by preventing premature corrosion. Sealing the wheel wells is a time consuming process, however it is a very important thing to do to keep the car protected from the elements. Check out the video below where Rickie shows you the entire process of sealing the quarter panels.

Edit: Since we begun this 1998 GSX fast and Furious rebuild project a few exciting updates have been presented in later blogs. We aren't spoiling anything on the blog and build if you want to read them in order but there is some news we wanna share. When this build is done and ready it will be displayed in the Meguiar's booth at SEMA 2021.
