Injection control pressure (ICP) sensor failure is quite common for high mileage 6.0L Powerstroke models. Typical indicators of sensor/harness failure include hard starting, rough idle, and power cutting out. Our sensor is engineered for precise fitment and meets all OEM specifications. Often, the factory pigtail connector becomes contaminated with oil, causing shorts and issues with sensor reading. Because of this, we highly recommend replacing the pigtail when swapping the sensor.
