Pedal Commander Settings: Pedal Commander offers 4 program selections: ECO, CITY, SPORT and SPORT+. Each mode has 9 different sensativity levels (upto 36 levels in total) and can be accessed by pressing the program button. Stock: When all the Pedal Commander lights are off your vehicle is operating using the stock throttle settings. ECO Mode: Used for fuel savings, smoother driving, better traction control in heavy weather conditions or for Off-Roading purposes. Press and hold the Program for 3 seconds to enter ECO Mode. What is the Pedal Commander? If you are looking to improve your overall driving enjoyment or improve your gas mileage, you need Pedal Commander. Most newer cars are manufactured with Electronic Throttle Control (ETC). This means your acceleration is no longer powered with the old school throttle cable that gave you a linear relation between your foot and the throttle body, but now everything is powered by electronics and your car’s computer (ECU). The electronic throttle does not provide the same performance as it creates a lag from your initial accelerator push. Pedal Commander allows you to have more control over your vehicle. Manufacturers produce vehicles as a “one size fits all” process in an attempt to make a majority of their customers happy as a whole. For lack of a better term, it makes the vehicle “idiot proof”. But you don't just move into a house and leave it alone, do you? No, you customize it to make it more comfortable and convenient for your individual needs. This is what Pedal Commander does for your car. It gives you the ability to make your gas pedal more sensitive for a sportier feel, or less sensitive if your main goal is to increase fuel economy. You also have the ability to change between modes as your needs change! In addition to these modes, you also have eight sensitivity levels to play with. You truly have the ability to make your vehicle’s response exactly how you want it, when you want it.
