Building a Modern Day (Fast & Furious) 1998 Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX - Part 19 - LIVERY & GRAPHICS!

The Eclipse is nearly complete! In today's episode of throtl, we tackle some major projects on the Eclipse that get it really close to completion.

We already had the air struts installed into the car but there was still much to get done to have the air suspension complete. In today's episode of throtl, the boys finish the air suspension on the Eclipse by installing the air pumps, air tank, and routing the airlines. We ended up borrowing some fittings from our Dodge Challenger project, but it worked out well because the air tank on the Eclipse looks sick! Evan converted one of our NOS bottles into an air tank for the air suspension. The Eclipse now has two NOS bottles in place, just like the Eclipse from the Fast and Furious movie, except one of ours is for air and the other holds NOS.

After getting the air suspension complete, the boys put the Fast and Furious livery from Modern Image on the car. For those of you who don't know, Mickey used to work at Modern Image, and this is the exact livery used in the movie car. We added our own twist to the livery by putting on the logos from the brands used on the build. The livery from Modern Image completely transformed the look of the car and we couldn't be more stoked on how it turned out! Check it out for yourself in the video below!
