Building a Rear Wheel Drive, K20 Turbocharged Honda Civic EK - Part 14

We are getting closer and closer to dyno day! In today's episode of throtl, the boys focus on getting everything behind the Civic's dashboard squared away. Rickie and Quinn start off today's episode of throtl by fabricating custom piping for the heating and air conditioning on the FREK. While Rickie focuses on the HVAC system, Quinn installs the brake pedal switch and a 2-step switch by fabricating a custom mount. This will allow us to activate the brake lights and 2-step by pressing the clutch and brake pedals.

After getting everything behind the dashboard set up, Rickie mocks the dash in the car to test out the HVAC system and fitment of the air vents. Finally, the boys make a custom centerpiece for the dash that houses all the Vintage Air controls for the HVAC system and a kill switch for the ignition. The centerpiece is the icing on the cake for the Civic's dash and we look forward to putting it in the car! Check it out for yourself in the video below.
