Building and Heavily Modifying a 1989 Nissan Skyline R32 GTS-T - Part 1

We recently picked up a 1989 Nissan Skyline R32 GTS-T from Toprank Importers.

We start off today's episode of throtl by going over all the parts we collected for the car. The goal of this project is to demonstrate how you can make an R32 GT-R style build without paying the full price for an R32 GT-R.

The GTS-T is going to get a widebody kit, wheels, tires, suspension upgrades, and a whole bunch of engine modifications. After showing all of the new parts for the GTS-T, Mickey and Rickie began removing a bunch of factory parts from the car including the bumpers, side skirts, and mirrors. Next, the boys began the installs by replacing the heavy OEM hood with a throtl performance carbon fiber hood.

After getting the carbon fiber hood installed, Mickey mocked up the FRP front bumper. While Mickey installed the front bumper, Rickie installed the GK Tech Aero mirrors. These simple modifications were quick to install and they already have our GTS-T looking like a GT-R. Check it out for yourself in the video below!
