Building and Heavily Modifying a 1989 Nissan Skyline R32 GTS-T - Part 4 - A MAJOR step forward!

Installing a widebody kit on a car can be a long process that takes multiple steps of fabrication. Since we are installing a Pandem widebody kit on our 1989 Nissan Skyline GTS-T, we had to chop the quarter panels and remove the factory fender liners. After getting the widebody panels mounted on the vehicle, we were able to determine how to make our custom fender liners.

When installing a widebody kit on a vehicle, we like to make custom fender liners out of metal to seal the wheel wells off and protect them from water, debris, and rust. In today's episode of throtl, Mickey, Rickie, and Quinn show you exactly how they measured, cut, and welded custom fender liners on the R32 GTS-T. Check it out for yourself in the video below!

After getting each quarter panel squared away, we load the GTS-T on the trailer and drop it off at Torrey Pines Collision and Repair for some bodywork and a new coat of paint. Stay tuned for the Next GTS-T video to see the progress on the build.
