We are officially kicking off our first drag racing build for 2021! We have been challenged to build this 2019 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat and get it prepared to race three other social media influencers for MotorTrend's Roadkill Nights. We really want to beat the competition, however, we have lots of work to do so we can make sure our Dodge Challenger is the best on the track.
Although these cars make over 700 horsepower, they are extremely heavy. Weighing in at over 4,000 pounds, our dodge challenger needs some serious changes if we want an advantage at the track. In today's episode of throtl, we shed some weight off of our Dodge Challenger by removing a bunch of accessories, and sound deadening from the interior. Can you guess how much weight we saved? Check out the video below to see our first steps to modifying our 2019 Dodge Challenger SRT.
